Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all applications created by Mezze Labs (collectively referred to as "Mezze Labs Apps"). Our apps are provided as Freemium services and are intended for use as is.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our apps and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our apps, we may collect certain technical information about your device and app usage. The information that we collect will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

We collect the following types of information:

  • Device Information: We collect device ID, device operating system, device model, and approximate location data derived from IP address (we do not gather precise location information or other personally identifiable information).
  • Usage Analytics: We collect analytics data about how you interact with our apps, including screens visited, features used, and app performance metrics.
  • Account Information: If you create an account, we collect the information you provide during registration.

Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our apps and to improve our services. Firebase Analytics automatically collects and processes certain types of information:

  • App Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the app, including screens viewed, buttons clicked, features used, and time spent in the app.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, mobile network information, and device settings.
  • General Location: Approximate geographic location derived from IP address (country and city level, not precise GPS coordinates).
  • Performance Data: App performance metrics such as crash reports, response times, and app stability information.
  • User Properties: Device ID only - we do not collect personally identifiable user information, demographic data, or other user-specific properties.

How We Use Firebase Analytics Data:

  • To understand app usage patterns and improve user experience
  • To identify and fix bugs and performance issues
  • To measure the effectiveness of new features
  • To generate aggregated, anonymous statistics about app usage

Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's data retention policies. You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use their services in their Privacy Policy.

Face Data Collection and Use

Mezze Labs Apps do NOT collect, use, disclose, share, or retain any face data.

To be completely clear about our practices regarding facial data:

  • Collection: We do not collect any face data, facial recognition data, biometric data derived from faces, or any other facial information from our users.
  • Use: Since we do not collect face data, we do not use face data for any purpose whatsoever.
  • Disclosure and Sharing: We do not share or disclose any face data with any third parties because we do not collect it.
  • Storage: No face data is stored on our servers, in our databases, or in any third-party storage services.
  • Retention: We do not retain face data for any period of time because we do not collect it.

Our apps may use AI features for image generation and processing, but these features do not involve the collection, analysis, or storage of your facial features or biometric data. Any images you create or upload are processed solely for the purpose of providing the requested service and are not used to extract or store facial data.

AI Processing and Generated Content

Some of our apps use artificial intelligence to generate images or other content. When using these features:

  • Your Content: Any content you generate using our AI features belongs to you.
  • Processing: Generated content is processed through third-party AI services to provide functionality.
  • Retention: Generated content that is not saved by you may be automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • Privacy: We do not use your generated content to train AI models or for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

Our apps use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services have their own privacy policies:

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by our apps by uninstalling them. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

Data Retention Policy

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services. When you request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children

Our apps do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
