Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to all applications created by Mezze Labs (collectively referred to as "Mezze Labs Apps"). Our apps are provided as Freemium services and are intended for use as is.

This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our apps and the choices you have associated with that data.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our apps, we may collect certain technical information about your device and app usage. The information that we collect will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

We collect the following types of information:

• Device Information: We collect device ID, device operating system, device model, and approximate location data derived from IP address (we do not gather precise location information or other personally identifiable information).
• Usage Analytics: We collect analytics data about how you interact with our apps, including screens visited, features used, and app performance metrics.
• Account Information: If you create an account, we collect the information you provide during registration.
• Advertising and Attribution Data: We may collect information about your interactions with advertisements and attribute app installs and events to marketing campaigns.

Third-Party AI Services and Your Data

What Data Is Sent

When you use AI image generation features and provide your consent, the following data is processed by our AI systems (either on our own infrastructure or through third-party providers):

• User-uploaded photos and images: Any photo or image you select and upload for AI image generation is transmitted to the AI provider. This may include photos that contain faces.
• Generation parameters: Technical parameters related to the image generation request (such as style settings or prompt text) are sent alongside your image to produce the requested output.

We do not send your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location data, browsing history, or any other personal information to AI providers. Only the content you explicitly select for AI generation is transmitted.

Who Processes Your Data

Your uploaded images are processed using AI image generation models. This processing may occur on:

• Mezze Labs infrastructure: We run open source image generation models on our own servers and deployments. When processing occurs on our infrastructure, your data is not shared with any third party.
• Third-party AI infrastructure providers: We may also use the following third-party providers to host and run AI image generation models on our behalf:

• fal.ai — AI infrastructure provider that hosts and runs image generation models on our behalf. Privacy Policy
• Replicate — AI infrastructure provider that hosts and runs image generation models on our behalf. Privacy Policy
• Eachlab — AI infrastructure provider that hosts and runs image generation models on our behalf. Privacy Policy

When third-party providers are used, they act as data processors — they run the AI models on our behalf and do not use your data for their own purposes. The AI models themselves do not collect, store, or transmit data independently; they only process the input provided through our infrastructure or through these hosting providers.

Whether processing occurs on our own infrastructure or through third-party providers, the same data protection standards apply. These are the only third parties that may receive your uploaded images. We do not share your photos or images with any other third parties for any reason.

AI Models Used

We use a variety of AI image generation models, including both open source and proprietary models, run either on our own infrastructure or through the third-party providers listed above:

• Open source models (such as FLUX by Black Forest Labs) — These models are publicly available and may be run on our own infrastructure or through our third-party providers.
• Other image generation models — We may use additional AI image generation models hosted by the providers listed above. These models do not independently collect or store data.

No data is sent directly to model creators or any party other than the third-party providers identified in this policy. When models are run on our own infrastructure, your data remains within Mezze Labs systems.

Purpose of Data Sharing

Your images are processed solely for the purpose of generating the AI image output you requested — whether on our own infrastructure or through third-party providers. Your data is never used for:

• Training, fine-tuning, or improving AI models
• Facial recognition, identification, or biometric analysis
• Advertising, profiling, or analytics
• Any purpose other than fulfilling your immediate generation request

How Your Data Is Protected

• Encrypted in transit: All uploaded images are encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption before being transmitted to AI providers.
• Not retained: Uploaded images are used as transient inputs only. They are processed by the AI provider and deleted immediately after the generated output is produced.
• Not stored on our servers: We do not store, cache, or retain copies of your uploaded images on Mezze Labs servers. Images are passed directly to the AI provider.

Third-Party Data Protection Obligations

All third-party AI providers used by Mezze Labs (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab) are required to provide data protection that is equivalent to or greater than the protections described in this privacy policy. Specifically, these providers are required to:

• Process your data solely for the purpose of fulfilling image generation requests
• Not retain, store, or reuse your uploaded images after processing is complete
• Not use your data to train or improve AI models
• Maintain industry-standard security measures to protect your data during processing
• Not share your data with any additional third parties

Your Consent Is Required

We will not send any of your images or photos to third-party AI services without your explicit, prior consent. Before any upload occurs, the app will present a clear consent prompt explaining that your image will be sent to an external AI service for processing. You may choose to accept or decline. If you decline, your data will not be sent and the AI generation feature will not proceed. You can use all other features of the app without providing consent for AI data sharing.

App Tracking Transparency

We use tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to improve our services. This may involve tracking your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies.

On iOS devices: In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we will ask for your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites. You will see a prompt requesting permission to track your activity for the following purposes:

• To measure advertising campaign performance and effectiveness
• To attribute app installs and in-app events to specific marketing sources
• To provide personalized content and improve our services
• To detect and prevent fraud in advertising attribution

Your Choice: You can choose to allow or deny tracking. If you deny tracking, we will not access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking purposes. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Whether or not you allow tracking, you can continue to use all features of our apps. Denying tracking does not affect app functionality, though you may see less relevant advertisements.

Firebase Analytics

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our apps and to improve our services. Firebase Analytics automatically collects and processes certain types of information:

• App Usage Data: Information about your interactions with the app, including screens viewed, buttons clicked, features used, and time spent in the app.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, mobile network information, and device settings.
• General Location: Approximate geographic location derived from IP address (country and city level, not precise GPS coordinates).
• Performance Data: App performance metrics such as crash reports, response times, and app stability information.
• User Properties: Device ID only - we do not collect personally identifiable user information, demographic data, or other user-specific properties.

How We Use Firebase Analytics Data:

• To understand app usage patterns and improve user experience
• To identify and fix bugs and performance issues
• To measure the effectiveness of new features
• To generate aggregated, anonymous statistics about app usage

Firebase Analytics data is retained according to Google's data retention policies. You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use their services in their Privacy Policy.

Face Data Collection and Use

Mezze Labs Apps do NOT collect, store, use for any secondary purpose, disclose, share, or retain any face data or biometric information.

What Face Data Does the App Collect?

Our apps do not collect any face data. Some of our apps allow you to upload photos (which may contain faces) solely for the purpose of AI-powered image generation. These uploaded photos are processed on our own infrastructure or securely encrypted in transit and transmitted to our third-party AI infrastructure providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab), which host and run AI image generation models on our behalf, for the sole purpose of generating the requested output. We do not disclose user photographs or videos to any other third parties. We do not extract, analyze, collect, or store any facial features, facial geometry, facial recognition data, or biometric identifiers from your uploaded photos.

Planned Uses of Face Data

We have no planned uses for face data because we do not collect it. Uploaded photos containing faces are used exclusively as input for AI image generation — nothing more. We do not use face data for facial recognition, identification, authentication, profiling, tracking, advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. We do not use uploaded photos or face data to train, improve, or develop AI models.

Third-Party Sharing and Storage

When you upload a photo for AI image generation, the photo is encrypted in transit and transmitted to our third-party AI processing providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and/or Eachlab) solely for the purpose of generating the requested image. These providers process the photo as a transient input for generation only. We do not disclose user photographs or videos to any other third parties for any reason. Uploaded photos are not stored on Mezze Labs servers. They are passed directly to the AI provider for processing and are deleted immediately after the generated output is produced.

Data Retention

We do not retain face data or uploaded photos containing faces for any period of time. Uploaded photos are used as transient inputs for AI image generation and are deleted immediately after processing is complete. We do not keep copies, backups, or caches of uploaded photos on our servers. Generated output images that are not saved by you may be automatically deleted after 30 days.

Summary of Face Data Practices

• Collection: We do not collect any face data, facial recognition data, or biometric data derived from faces. Uploaded photos are only used as transient inputs for AI generation.
• Use: We do not use face data for any purpose. Uploaded photos are passed to AI providers solely for image generation and are never used for recognition, identification, training, or any secondary purpose.
• Disclosure and Sharing: Uploaded photos are shared only with our AI processing providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab) for the sole purpose of generating requested content. We do not disclose user photographs or videos to any other third parties. No face data is shared with any other third party.
• Storage: No face data or uploaded photos are stored on Mezze Labs servers, in our databases, or in any long-term storage. Photos are processed transiently and deleted immediately after generation.
• Retention: We retain face data and uploaded photos for zero (0) days. Photos are deleted immediately after the AI generation process is complete.

AI Processing and Generated Content

Some of our apps use artificial intelligence to generate images or other content. These features are powered by AI image generation models (including open source models such as FLUX by Black Forest Labs), which are run on our own infrastructure or hosted by our third-party infrastructure providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab). For detailed information about what data is sent to AI services, who receives it, how it is protected, and your consent rights, please see the "Third-Party AI Services and Your Data" section above. When using these features:

• Your Content: Any content you generate using our AI features belongs to you.
• Processing: Generated content is processed through AI image generation models run on our own infrastructure or hosted by third-party infrastructure providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab). When third-party providers are used, they act solely as processors — they run the models, generate the requested output, and do not retain or reuse your data.
• Uploaded Data: Any photos, images, or other data you upload for AI generation are used exclusively as input for the generation process. Uploaded data is encrypted in transit before being sent to our AI providers. We never use any uploaded data — including photos containing faces — for any purpose other than generating the content you requested. Uploaded data is passed directly to the AI provider and deleted immediately after generation is complete. We do not store, analyze, or retain uploaded data on our servers.
• Retention: Uploaded input data (including photos) is deleted immediately after processing. Generated output content that is not saved by you may be automatically deleted after 30 days.
• No Training: We do not use your uploaded data or generated content to train, fine-tune, or improve AI models. Your data is never used for any purpose other than fulfilling your immediate generation request.

Third Party Services and Tracking

Our apps use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These services have their own privacy policies:

Analytics and Performance

• Google Firebase Analytics: For usage analytics and app performance monitoring - Privacy Policy
• Firebase Crashlytics: For crash reporting, error logging, and app stability monitoring. Crashlytics collects crash traces, device state information, and device identifiers to help us diagnose and fix issues - Privacy Policy
• PostHog: For analytics and user behavior tracking - Privacy Policy

Attribution and Marketing Analytics

• Meta (Facebook Events): We use Meta's SDK to track app events and measure advertising campaign effectiveness. This includes tracking app installs, in-app purchases, and other conversion events. Meta may use this data in combination with data from other sources for advertising purposes.Privacy Policy
• Adjust: We use Adjust for mobile attribution, fraud prevention, and marketing analytics. Adjust helps us understand which marketing campaigns drive app installs and user engagement. Adjust collects device identifiers, IP addresses, and app interaction data.Privacy Policy
• AppsFlyer: We use AppsFlyer for mobile attribution and marketing analytics to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. AppsFlyer tracks app installs, in-app events, and attributes them to specific marketing sources while providing fraud detection capabilities.Privacy Policy

AI Image Generation

In addition to running open source models on our own infrastructure, our apps use the following third-party infrastructure providers to host and run AI image generation models on our behalf:

• fal.ai: We use fal.ai to host and run AI image generation models. When you use AI image generation features, your input data (including uploaded photos) is sent to fal.ai solely for the purpose of generating the requested output. fal.ai processes your data as a transient input and does not retain your uploaded images after generation is complete. We do not share any other personal data with fal.ai.Privacy Policy
• Replicate: We use Replicate to host and run AI image generation models. Similar to fal.ai, your input data is sent to Replicate solely for generation purposes and is not retained after processing.Privacy Policy
• Eachlab: We use Eachlab to host and run AI image generation models. Your input data (including uploaded photos) is sent to Eachlab solely for the purpose of generating the requested output and is not retained after processing.Privacy Policy

The AI models used do not independently collect, store, or transmit any user data. All data processing occurs on our own infrastructure or through the hosting providers listed above.

Important Note on Tracking Services: The attribution and marketing analytics services listed above (Meta, Adjust, AppsFlyer) may track your activity across different apps and websites. On iOS devices, we will request your permission before allowing these services to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) in accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency requirements.

Opt-Out Rights

You have several options to control data collection and tracking:

• Tracking on iOS: You can control tracking by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device. You can disable tracking for our app specifically or disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" to prevent all apps from requesting tracking permission.
• Advertising Preferences: You can limit ad tracking on iOS by going to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and enabling "Limit Ad Tracking." On Android, you can reset or opt-out of personalized ads in Settings → Google → Ads.
• Complete Opt-Out: You can stop all collection of information by our apps by uninstalling them. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

Please note that opting out of tracking will not affect your ability to use our apps, but may result in less personalized advertising and limit our ability to measure marketing effectiveness.

Data Retention Policy

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our services. When you request deletion of your data, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children

Our apps do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

Your Consent

By using our apps, you consent to our privacy policy and agree to its terms.

Consent for AI Data Sharing: For features that involve sending your images or photos to third-party AI infrastructure providers (fal.ai, Replicate, and Eachlab) for processing by AI image generation models, we require your separate, explicit consent before any data is transmitted. You will be presented with a clear in-app consent prompt before your first use of AI image generation features. This consent prompt will explain what data will be sent and to which provider. You may grant or withdraw this consent at any time through the app's settings. Declining consent for AI data sharing will not affect your ability to use other features of the app.

Consent for Tracking: On iOS devices, we will separately request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites, in accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
